Floy J. Teague

Coleman Funeral Home of Olive Branch Floy Jean Teague, 91, of Millington, TN, passed away on Monday, June 7, 2026. Friends are invited to a visitation with the family from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at Coleman Funeral Home of Olive Branch, with the service to follow at 11:00 a.m. Dr. Billy Skinner, retired pastor of Millington First Baptist Church, will officiate the service. Floy was born on November 17, 1934, in McKenzie, TN. Floy’s first job was as the secretary for the pastor of First Baptist Church in McKenzie, where she also made a difference in so many lives by teaching the Youth Boys Training Union Class. Floy later worked as a Mary Kay Consultant before owning a nutritional center, where she sold Shaklee products. Her ambition paid off through her success in her work. Floy was a member of Rosemark Baptist Church. She was a prayer warrior, an avid Bible scholar, enjoyed reading spiritual books in her free time, and was quick to witness to others whenever given the opportunity. Floy was a resident of Silvercreek Senior Living Community for four years, where she was well known as “The Jokester.” She was always a fashionable woman and knew how to properly accessorize an outfit to complete it. She enjoyed spending time in nature and appreciated God’s hand in the beauty of it. Floy cherished time spent with her family and she will be missed greatly by those who knew and loved her. Floy was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, George Everette Teague; son, Jack Everette Teague; parents, Mary Morgan Coleman and Grady Coleman; three sisters, Geneva McDonald, Rebecca Rauchle, and Lottye Choate; and three brothers, William Coleman, Johnnie Coleman, and Jimmy Coleman. Floy is survived by several nieces and nephews, along with her daughter-in-law, Nidia Teague of Brighton, TN. In lieu of traditional flowers, donations may be made in Floy Teague’s name to Allen Jackson Ministries, P.O.
