Vickie Minor Penn

Coleman Funeral Home of Olive Branch Vickie Minor Penn, 55, of Olive Branch, passed away on July 15, 2026. Friends are invited to a visitation with the family of Saturday, July 25, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Coleman Funeral Home of Olive Branch. Vickie was a firecracker with a one of a kind laugh. Affectionately known as Trickie Vickie, Vickie Lou, Little Olene, Chief Longtoes and many other nicknames. She was the world's best mother/mother in law, daughter, sister, aunt/"aunt momma" and friend. If you knew her, you quickly learned about her son Kristopher. She was immensely proud of him and the life he has built thus far. You could count on her to be at school events, competitions, or any of life's celebrations not only for her son, but for anyone who ever entered her life. You name it, she was there. Vickie was a bonus mom to many and a safe space for all. She created an environment you always wanted to come back to and hang out in. She always knew how to be a pal if you were having a rough day. If you called her, she would come immediately, whether it be for a margarita with extra cherries, family karaoke, or to lend a helping hand. She loved her dog Odie, beach vacations, girls' nights and spending time with her great-nephews and niece. Vickie wouldn't dare be caught leaving the house without wearing a little bit of hot pink and her crocs. She was an Olive Branch High School graduate, Class of '89, and many of those friendships remain today. She spent over 20 years with two dental practices, Olive Branch Dental Care and Windstone Dental. The friendships that she made there were near and dear to her heart - they were family. Vickie lived an incredibly full life and will be dearly missed and loved forever. Vickie is preceded in death by her nephew, Blake Minor. She is survived by her son, Kris Penn (Abby) of Jackson, MS; parents, Mary Katherine and David Minor of Olive Branch; sister, Cindy Minor of Walls, MS; niece, Samantha Mason (Stephen) of Millington, TN; great nephews, Stephen Miller of Millington, Samuel Miller of Millington and David Stewart of Olive Branch; and great niece, Lillian Miller of Millington.
